MY JOURNEY FROM SICK TO SEXY AF

My weight loss journey was a lifetime in the making. 

 

I struggled with obesity since I was a child. 

 

At 32, I found myself divorced, on immune suppressants, antidepressants, and addicted to pain killers. 

 

I loved double orders of Panda Express Orange Chicken with vodka to wash it all down.  I was 60 lbs. overweight, aching from my fingertips to my toes, and at points so depressed I wouldn't even wash my hair. 

 

Something had to change.  I had two children to raise. 

 

This time, I decided to go about "dieting" radically different than previous attempts.

 

I started to lift weights, meal prep, and journal.

I gave myself permission for it to take time.

I showed myself grace + love.

I stayed the course + didn't let head drama into the mix.

This wasn't a diet,

this was even beyond a lifestyle change,

this was me becoming the woman I was always meant to be.

 

 After my first 90 days, I lost a total of 28 pounds while gaining the confidence and momentum I needed to ultimately lose an additional 32 pounds of fat.

 

This started as a weight loss journey, but it changed the course of the rest of my life.
