What You and Beyonce Have in Common

Updated: Jul 5, 2019

IF YOU HAVE A FEAR OF FAILING [which I'm sure most of you do] know this....

Once you decide ------> you won't fail.

Am I oversimplifying it?

I don't think so.

Think about your favorite singer or actress. How do you think they became famous?

They knew what they wanted and they went after it.

- Can you even begin to imagine how many auditions they went on?

- What’s your guess on how many times they got turned down?

- What do you think they did to make money ALL WHILE they were being rejected time and time again?

I’m sure you’ve heard the stories:

  • Nicki Minaj was a waitress at Red Lobster.

  • Rachel McAdams worked at McDonald’s

  • Beyonce worked at her mom’s hair salon

  • Gwen Stefani worked at Dairy Queen

But they did so KNOWING it was only temporary because they DECIDED they were going to be famous. They looked at their shitty-ass jobs as a temporary pit stop.

Now let’s talk about who literally no one talks about…

All the singers and actresses that did those same things but didn’t have the balls to stick it out.

Listen, I’m not knocking them.

It’s a fuck-ton easier to lose weight than it is to become famous…

Which is all the more reason that you’ve got no excuses once you decide.

It really is that simple.

Maybe you need more information to make it (aka a talent agency).

Maybe you need a solid fitness program (singing lessons).

Maybe you need to learn how to meal prep (get in with the right people).

BUT the bottom line is this….

Once you decide, you decide that nothing is going to stop you.

If you say you “decide” but you quit when it gets hard, than what you decided is to lose weight but only if it’s easy. You haven’t decided that you are losing the weight no matter what.

See the difference?

All it really is is a decision.
