Fat Melting Holiday Cookies

Don't let marketing fool you, there is no such thing as an "fat melting", "energy ball", "weight loss cookie"...or "skinny tea" for that matter. In fact, most "healthier cookies" have more fat and carbs than traditional recipes.




You will be hard pressed to find the nutritional information on most "healthy cookie" recipes...so I've taken the liberty of calculating for you. Sure the ingredients are "better" for you, but you shouldn't be eating cookies daily so it's kind of a moot point.




For this reason, I recommend sticking with cookies that are actually "good tasting" favorite family recipes or purchasing store bought cookies.




That way you won't be tempted to eat all the 12 of them while you tell yourself...



"What the hay! They are healthy, right?"

Don't get caught up in food labels or fad diets.
