Episode #38: What Melissa Eats in a Day






I think I'm going to shock you with this episode. A common misconception women have about weight loss is that you need to starve yourself to lose weight. That couldn't be further from the truth. When done right, you can be leaner and stronger while you eat more food than you ever have in your entire life (and yes that includes the occasional fully loaded ballpark nachos).


In this episode I am going to break down what I eat in a day to show you that shifting focus from restriction to abundance is the best way to achieve massive weight loss. By the end, you will have a pretty good idea about what you need to change in your current diet.

Makes 4


Meat:

1 pound lean ground turkey

1 tbsp. soy sauce or sub liquid aminos

2 tsp. Asian spice


Peanut Sauce:

2 tbsp. peanut butter

2 tsp. soy sauce or sub liquid aminos

splash of water

Dash of ginger, optional


Vegetables:

Bibb Lettuce of wrap

2 cups snap peas

1 cup matchstick carrots

4 green onions



1. Cook turkey and add sauce or seasoning. Drain fat.

2. In a small bowl, whisk together peanut sauce. You may need to microwave for 15 seconds.

3. Serve as shown.
