Episode #108: 3 Fitness Tips for Your Busy Schedule







1. DROP YOUR STORIES + PLAN AHEAD:


Put it in your calendar on Sunday night: walk the walk. If you say you needs are important, then make them a priority. Things that are important require planning.


I’ve crafted a life where I can go to the gym when I want but don’t let my flexibility be your excuse because I could just as easily think low-vibe thoughts like, “I have no structure because I am my own boss. It’s easy to not want to leave the house, especially in the winter”.


I could choose those thoughts but those thoughts don’t make a banging body so I don’t think them.




2. SET A TIME LIMIT FOR YOUR BULLSHIT STORIES:


“Okay, if I don’t have X finished by 2pm, I’m going to the gym regardless”


I cannot stress the importance of learning to do shit you say you are going to do.


Do not be ambiguous about it.


If you say, “I know. I know. I need to get up + go to the gym.”


Then hear me in your ear saying, “When Bitch?” What time? In 10 minutes? What?





3. MANAGE YOUR EXPECTATIONS:


The priority is to learn to love strength training.


If you are having a bad day do the kind of workout you love the most.


I wouldn’t recommend this 5 years down the line but for now, you need to fall madly in love w/ better yourself + that’s not going to happen if you want to cry.


The win is in the doing it. Even if it sucked ass that day. Just keep doing it.
